Volunteering Information
We can always use more help with our campaigns. Click on the “Campaigns” tab above for more information on what we’re currently doing. If you are interested, please come along to one of our public meetings (detailed on the “Events” tab above) to talk with us, or contact us by clicking on the “Contact Us” tab above.
Occasionally, we also have specific volunteer positions that we are looking to fill. Please click “Volunteer Positions” in the menu on the left for more details of what is available.
Joining Friends of the Earth Edinburgh
Anyone is welcome to come along to the public meetings and find out about our campaigns. However to get more involved with the campaigns, it is necessary to join Friends of the Earth Edinburgh. Joining only costs £5 a year and includes an optional postal subscription of our monthly newsletter, INFOE (email subscriptions are free to anyone — details can be found by clicking on the “Newsletter” tab above).
If you would like to join us, please contact us — details of how to do so can be found by clicking on the “Contact” tab above. If you decide that you want to run campaigns, vote at our general meetings, or stand for the committee, it is also necessary to join Friends of the Earth Scotland, thereby becoming a voting member of our group.
Joining Friends of the Earth Scotland (the national group)
Membership to our national group, Friends of the Earth Scotland, costs £25 per year. Your membership fees are used to help fight for important environmental issues in Scotland and internationally — more details can be found on their webpage. If you are interested in joining Friends of the Earth Scotland, please contact us for a form — details of how to get in touch can be found by clicking on the “Contact” tab above.
